“Our Strength Will Grow Through Community” ~ Capdown

AJS Chandler
Cindy Chandler, Atlanta Jewelry Show Director of Education.

Final preparations are underway for the Spring, 2018 edition of the Atlanta Jewelry Show (AJS), and I am looking forward to seeing you there!

If you’re looking for a show that combines true Southern hospitality with timely education and seminars, trending products and services and fun events, including the introduction of the first ever AJS Kids Jewelry Camp, then you must be in Atlanta March 3 – 5 for this show.

Cindy Chandler, Director of Education for the Atlanta Jewelry Show, has packed the education schedule with seminars and presentations designed to jump start your 2018. The popular pre-show education event, scheduled for Friday, March 2nd offers an extensive list of learning opportunities in categories such as business & bench, custom creation, leadership skills, marketing, sales and strategy.

As part of the pre-show education schedule, I’ll be presenting “Pop Up from Profits” on Friday, March 2nd at 5:15 pm. If you want information on showcasing new or unusual products, on-site services or add-on items that can add up to big dollar profits then  Pop-up shops might be your answer, and this is a seminar you won’t want to miss!

New to the Spring, 2018 edition is the introduction of the first ever AJS Kids Jewelry Camp. The AJS Kids Jewelry Camp will be held on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 and is open to children ages 8 & up. Educational seminars and hands on, kid-friendly programs will be held during the event, and children will be allowed to join their parents on the floor of the show for a “real-life” buying experience.

The cost of the two-day AJS Kids Jewelry Camp event is $100 per child and children MUST be registered in advance by February 23, 2017. For more information on how children in your family can participate in the AJS Kids Jewelry Camp, or to register your children to take part in this innovative program, please call the Atlanta Jewelry Show office at 800-241-0399 or 404-634-3434.

Longtime Atlanta Jewelry Show exhibitor Nina Nguyen of Nina Nguyen Designs will be swinging into Spring 2018 with a fun and fresh interchangeable hoop and jackets earring line. The hoops, some featuring diamond accents, are available in gold or black oxidized silver and are paired with a flirty selection of gemstones perfect for spring and summer 2018. Suggested retail price for the new pieces range from $500 – $1200.

The March edition of the Atlanta Jewelry Show will also be graced by the Jewelers Helping Jewelers “Glambassador” Aleah Arundale. Arundale, who runs the industry based “JHJ” Facebook feed, is a huge supporter of the Atlanta Show and is so excited about the upcoming show that she even made a video to encourage retailers to attend!

Watch “Why you should go to the Atlanta Jewelry Show” from Aleah Arundale on YouTube now at: https://youtu.be/WUDgfeHX5QY

The show successfully implemented new elements in 2017 created to increase interaction on the show floor, which include a central Plaza area complete with a full-service bar, concierge assistance, and live music provided by an on-site DJ who keeps the atmosphere upbeat throughout the day.

Need more incentives to attend? You can kick-start your day with complimentary coffee starting each morning at 9:00 am, graciously sponsored by Southern Jewelry News, and take advantage of the $5 Buyer Lunch Buffet, which is the best deal in town! A buyer badge and lunch coupon are all you need to take advantage of this delicious offer.

When you are done with your buying day and ready to wind down from your show floor experience, come join all your industry friends and mingle at Mingle! Known as the place to make real connections, attendees simply stroll over at the end of each day to gather together for music, free drinks and great conversations with good friends and business associates.

Come join me and see why I think the Atlanta Jewelry Show is a true industry community you’ll enjoy being part of, as well as the BEST show in the industry. Looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta!

Are you attending the Atlanta Jewelry Show? I’d love to meet with you in person! E-mail me at Ann@SouthernJewelersGuild.com or call me at 504-615-1191 so we can set up an appointment to meet!
