Taking steps to maintain supply chain, protect employees
United PMR has announced they remain open to serve the industry during the COVID-19 pandemic that has changed the industry and our nation as a whole. As jewelry retailers and manufacturers overseas and here at home have temporarily halted production, United PMR is now delivering gold to:
- The COMEX for future deliveries to help offset the shortage from stalled overseas deliveries;
- Medical Equipment Manufacturers who are working on equipment to help in the fight against COVID-19.
“Never has the importance of the supply chain mattered more than it does right now,” said David Siminski, United PMR Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Technical

“We value the health and safety of our employees and customers and are taking every precaution to ensure everyone remains in good health,” said Siminski. To protect the health of employees the company has taken the following precautions:
- Temporarily relocated non-essential personnel to work from home including sales and office staff.
- The United maintenance team is thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the facility as well as any products being made.
- Conducting daily screenings of personnel as they arrive to ensure they are not experiencing symptoms and are not running a fever or have elevated temperatures.
“With personnel working both in the office and from home, customers will continue receiving the same excellent level of customer service they’ve become accustomed to receiving from United PMR,” added Siminski.
“We are all in this together and together we will surpass this challenge as an industry and come out stronger than ever before.”
