(ATLANTA) – The Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA) held their Spring edition of the Atlanta Jewelry Show on March 5 – 7 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Once again the Show delivered the quality buyers, industry leading vendors, a fantastic awards program for buyers and outstanding educational opportunities for which it has become known.

The hard working staff of the Atlanta Jewelry Show has earned their reputation as the friendliest group of show producers in the industry. Always willing to go the extra mile for retailers and vendors alike, the staff never fails to deliver large doses of Southern Hospitality.
“The staff is unbelievable,” said Manua Smothers of Selig’s, Inc. in Elizabeth City, NC. “It’s nice to work in a non-competitive environment. It feels like a big family here.”
“This show has been invaluable to us,” added Allison Cianciulli, also of Selig’s. “We have met so many great new vendors.”
Margy Chandler of Hopewell, VA-based The Chandlery stated, “I’m loving the show! So many of the vendors here are like dear friends.”
The vendors were also pleased with the show. “Atlanta is great,” said Steve Berkowitz of Sterling Reputation, “less than half the cost of other major trade shows and I do two and a half times the business.”
Buyer preregistration was up for the Show this March as there are more and more indicators the worst of the economic crisis is behind us. Jacob Turner of Concept Marketing said, “I had one of the best opening days I’ve had in a long time – quality jewelers ready to buy.”
The educational sessions were delivered by renowned speakers on a variety of topics. Speakers included notable personalities such as Gemological Institute of America CEO Donna Baker, “Nametag Guy” Scott Ginsburg, Diamond Council of America President Terry Chandler, National Association of Jewelry Appraisers Executive Director Gail Levine and many more.
The next Atlanta Jewelry Show is scheduled for August 6-8, 2011 and will again be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre. For more information please call 800-241-0399, e-mail info@atlantajewelryshow.com or visit www.atlantajewelryshow.com.
