Atlanta Jewelry Show to host 2022 SOHO Experience in March

SJTA’s Spring Show aims to provide a resource for education and products to empower retailers

(ATLANTA) – The Spring edition of the Atlanta Jewelry Show, The SoHo Experience by AJS, will be held in-person on March 5-6, 2022, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. This live gathering will be a two-day event preceded by an entire day of reimagined education, the ConnectED Pre-Show Conference, on Friday March 4.

An attendee favorite, the SoHo Experience by AJS is the place where buyers see products from new and iconic exhibitors, experience the latest jewelry trends, get access to professional skill-enhancing sessions, and make invaluable connections with peers – all with the perfect amount of Southern Hospitality. AJS Executive Director Libby Brown stated: “After the many issues we have recently experienced, our team is committed to helping our jewelry community with ways to take lemons and make lemonade! Our attendees have come to expect unique experiences and top-notch education, and we are so excited to deliver a forward-looking show that does all that and more this March.”

AJS has announced an all-new education format for Spring. On Friday, March 4th, AJS ConnectED, the education arm of AJS, will offer two new ways to participate in the pre-show education conference. “The industry has changed at an accelerated rate, and the ConnectED conference team and our SoHo Pros are here to help you navigate,” said Brown. “We are looking forward to providing support that recognizes and addresses the direct and essential needs of the industry while offering real-time solutions during this innovative ‘Squeeze the Day’ two-part event.”

On Friday, March 4th, buyers are invited to the ‘Squeeze the Day’ Sessions with the SoHo Pros. Introduced in 2020, The SoHo Pros will return for their third event to share advice and the latest action items for jewelers to immediately implement in their stores. A free networking event designed to help jewelers overcome struggles and adapt to the times, expert SoHo Pro trainers will guide attendees through the latest trends in selling, marketing, social media, e-commerce and more.

AJS Education Director Cindy Chandler said: “We are thrilled to offer this new way of learning to our attendees. The SoHo pros have an excellent program planned, with a focus on making lemonade out of lemons by sharing how they have personally thrived during these uncertain times. Through real-life examples and the exchanging of ideas, retailers will learn new recipes for success to add the zest back into their business!” Space is limited, attendees must pre-register at atlantajewelryshow.com/ajs-connected/ajs-u/.

1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive: Atlanta Jewelry Show has engaged the expert digital marketing educators at Technology Therapy Group to conduct a single-day intensive training program that brings critical lessons in how to succeed in a digital landscape to jewelry business owners from all over the country. The 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive will be offered as an add-on event to the SoHo Experience by AJS on Friday, March 4th.

“A thorough digital presence has become non-negotiable for growing businesses of every size in every industry,” said Jennifer Shaheen, Technology Therapy Group President and Lead Trainer. “What once was an intimidating future possibility is now a very current opportunity for modernizing and innovating your brand. What we accomplish during this intensive will carry these motivated business owners into the next chapter of their growth and success. We’re unifying everything they need in one rigorous day.”

Registration for the 1-Day Digital Marketing Intensive is open with seating limited to 50 jewelry business owners and staff eager to enhance their digital marketing. Cost: $395. Interested participants can learn more and register for the March 4th event at atlantajewelryshow.com/ajs-connected/ajs-u/.

Kids Jewelry Camp is returning! Welcoming and inspiring future generations of jewelers and providing opportunities to build upon for a lifetime, no 2 Jewelry Camps are alike. The specialized curriculum changes for each session, which means AJS Rock Stars will learn something new, whether it is their first or fourth time attending. Camp dates: Saturday and Sunday, March 5-6, 2022. Cost: $ 175 for the two-day camp per camper. Ages: 7+. Visit atlantajewelryshow.com/ajs-connected/kids-jewelry-camp/ for further information.

The $10 Buyer Lunch Buffet in the Café will be available. Buyers will once again have the opportunity to relax, refuel, and recharge with the convenience of not ever leaving the buying floor.

Retail buyers are invited to shop the latest designs and the most popular trends along with beloved brands, all featured under one roof during the two-day event bringing buyers and sellers together. Pre-registration is available and required at atlantajewelryshow.com/buyers/register/.

Guided by its Safety Shines™ Plan, the Atlanta Jewelry Show will implement appropriate health and safety measures for the event, all designed with the well-being of its attendees top of mind. These measures will be updated and published as the situation warrants.
