(NEW YORK) – Nostalgia is a powerful, transformative emotion inspired by many things, including jewelry, watches, and art objects. Antiques can evoke memories of a bygone era, a special moment, or loved one – creating feelings of calm and comfort. As a result, many consumers seek out jewelry and art objects to remind them of specific times in their lives. Often handcrafted, these items have character, carrying a sense of history and heritage. This fall, KIL Promotions is launching the inaugural NYC Autumn Jewelry and Object Show during the prestigious NYC Jewelry Week, from November 16 – 19, 2023, at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Tapping into nostalgia, both trade and consumers can explore and shop a wide range of pieces, learning about their history and cultural significance. Contemporary jewelry designers will also exhibit their jewels, stories, and inspiration, giving collectors an opportunity to acquire unique, wearable and decorative art objects that speak to them.
Konstantinos I. Leoussis, Founder of KIL Promotions, says: “I wanted to create a new and exciting jewelry event due to the dwindling number of jewelry related trade shows in the tri-state area that could bring all sorts of dealers, collectors, and object lovers together from all paths of life. This is an amazing opportunity for antique jewelry dealers, watch dealers, contemporary jewelry designers, and object sellers to showcase their items in one of the greatest cities in the world, in an uplifting and supportive environment. We truly want our vendors to succeed and are sparing no expense to help achieve this.”
The NYC Autumn Jewelry and Object Show will be an immersive, engaging experience for consumers and trade alike. Vendors are encouraged to showcase pieces in the curated setting, sharing the history and cultural significance of each. Influencer partnerships will engage exhibitors with social media and greater reach for branding. For exhibitors, the show is priced for affordability. Designed to be accessible to a wide range of buyers, with pricing that is reasonable and competitive, the NYC Autumn Jewelry and Object Show allows seasoned collectors, the trade, and enthusiasts to explore and acquire rare and beautiful pieces. The show will feature an impressive selection of antique and vintage jewelry and watches from around the world, including Art Deco pieces to classic Victorian designs and classic watches.
The NYC Autumn Jewelry and Object Show will be hosted at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, a venue known for regaling many leading art industry events. Event organizers at KIL Promotions are developing a welcoming show environment, with room for vendors to display, and space for visitors to discover new treasures. High quality vendors are being handpicked from around the world, from renowned dealers to up-and-coming jewelry designers, ensuring attendees experience a diverse range of sellers. Discovering new pieces and learning about craftsmanship, attendees will make valuable connections with the trade. Local retailers are encouraged to shop the show as well, with wholesale pricing offered to store owners looking to update their inventory.
The NYC Autumn Jewelry and Object Show debuts on November 16th, 2023, and concludes November 19th, 2023, during the heart of NYC Jewelry Week, a week-long festival with collective events exploring the making, makers, and art of jewelry. A special early preview and press event is scheduled for November 15th, 2023. A follow-up NYC Spring Jewelry and Object Show is tentatively planned for April 2024, as well as a Tokyo Jewelry and Object Show, debuting in Japan during the summer of 2024.
