Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show moves to Miami in 2014

(MIAMI) - For 2014, U.S. Antique Shows is making a move. The prestigious Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will now be hosted in the high fashion city known for its Latin flair and street styles, Miami, on Nov. 14 - 16, 2014. The show, which is to be held at the Miami Airport Convention Center, will continue to showcase internationally recognized dealers and the fantastic variety of antique, vintage and estate jewelry and watches attendees have come to love.

“By moving this show to Miami, we’re able to respond to requests from our dealers and attendees by hosting this show in November versus earlier date patterns in September and October,” says Dan Darby, group show director for U.S. Antique Shows and vice president of George Little Management (GLM). “The Miami Airport Convention Center already hosts our Miami National Antique Show and was uniquely able to fulfill this request for us.”

Now known as the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, the show’s move was motivated to provide convenience to its dealers and feature more antique jewelry and watch pieces in a larger venue. Besides being recognized as one of the nation’s fashion capitals, Miami is also host to the International Watch & Jewelry Guild’s (IWJG) Trade Show, Nov. 17 - 18, which is attended by many U.S. Antique Shows dealers.

Joe Nelson, executive director of the International Watch and Jewelry Guild stated: “This is a winning situation for everyone. The IWJG members and the Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show dealers have an opportunity to experience these two great shows on one business trip. We’re excited!”

The Miami Airport Convention Center, Miami’s second largest convention and exhibition center, has 172,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space. With the new venue and expanded space, U.S. Antique Shows projects a 20 percent increase in exhibiting dealers. This will provide attendees a greater variety of merchandise to find special and unique gifts. In addition, the show’s November dates are timed perfectly to complete any holiday shopping.

Miami Antique Jewelry & Watch Show gathers more than 100 well-established dealers presenting their stunning pieces to local Miami collectors, celebrities and socialites. On the show floor, jewelry and watch collections from the Renaissance to Retro eras are represented as well as signed pieces from elite brands like Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany & Co., Harry Winston, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels and more.
