Leading gemological instruments manufacturer GEMLOGIS USA has announced the introduction of a new diamond verifier. The Gemlogis ANDROMEDA can accurately differentiate between earth mined & Type IIa /CVD/HPHT lab grown diamonds and simulants.
The GEMLOGIS ANDROMEDA fluorescence imaging unit was developed to quickly and accurately identify and separate natural from lab grown diamonds. It utilizes fluorescence and phosphorescence to detect natural diamonds, treated diamonds, and lab-grown diamonds (CVD/HPHT). Large parcels of melee or multiple mounted jewelry items can be tested at the same time. Works with open or closed back settings.
The instrument is designed to detect Colorless to near Colorless diamonds within the color range of D-K.
Keith Sessler, President of GEMLOGIS USA, stated: “GEMLOGIS has once again developed a revolutionary precision instrument that provides a solution to verify lab grown diamonds at an affordable price. Every jeweler, pawn broker or anyone involved in the jewelry business should consider this for their business.”
