(New York) – The Plumb Club Industry & Market Insights from 2025 showed a significant increase in consumer awareness and demand for clarity and understanding of responsible business practices and traceability in the jewelry category. From ethical sourcing to traceability, the importance to consumers increased by 7% and 8%, respectively, compared with a similar survey conducted only 2 years earlier. In addition, more consumers were willing to pay significantly more for products that ensured these characteristics. Additionally, fewer consumers said that they would purchase without verification.
